Thy Christmas is closing in, and so is the busiest time of gaming (kinda).
Alot of good games have been released recently. Dragon Age: Origins, Shattered Horizon, Borderlands and Left 4 Dead 2 to mention few.

Shattered Horizon:

Shattered Horizon is probably the most innovative out of those four games. I mean, it's not that often you see a Zero-G FPS with simple, yet advanced controls and such beautiful and cruel space enviroments.
It's hell of alot of fun, there's a DLC (Moonrise) coming out for it soon, and of course, it's free for anyone who owns the game. Here's a gameplay vid I recorded. [link]


Borderlands:

It's fun, Especially in coop. It gives this old Diablo 2-ish feel, which is quite nostalgic. Of course, the art style is kind of unique for that kind of game, plus it has okay humour. They've also announced a DLC for it, called "The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned". You can figure out what's it about from the name.


Dragon Age: Origins:
It's quite nice game, kind of neverwinter night-ish gameplay, although way more clusterfuck and smaller party. I've already played it for like 37hrs and I have only completed 37% of the game, which means that the game has alot to do in it, which is good. Although, the size of the party kinda annoys me, as currently I can't decide between a tank and a rogue, so I have to swap between them from time to time.


Left 4 Dead 2:
Although people boycotted the game because in their opinion VALVe was just trying to fish out money with the L4D-brand, I can't see how they did it. The game is awesome, it's like L4D, but bumped up a notch; melee weapons, more special infected, uncommon infected, more campaigns, scavenge mode and best of all, more guns. The versus is absolutely awesome, I love charger and spitter, they can really stir things up.
